CLINICAL MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES FOR PEDIATRIC ASTHMA IN URBAN SETTINGS
Main Article Content
Abstract
Pediatric asthma poses significant clinical and public health challenges, especially in urban environments where air pollution and socio-economic factors exacerbate disease severity. This article reviews current clinical management strategies for pediatric asthma in urban settings of Pakistan, focusing on diagnostic approaches, pharmacological treatment, environmental control, patient education, and healthcare system integration. Through analysis of recent local studies and international guidelines, it highlights barriers to effective asthma control and suggests tailored interventions to improve outcomes in Pakistani urban populations.
